Christopher Chaney serves as Of Counsel to Chaney Counsel, maintaining a professional affiliation with the firm while continuing to practice through his own separate firm. A Southern California native, Chris founded The Law Offices of Christopher Chaney & Associates in 2019, where he continues to practice today.

Education & Credentials

Chris holds a bachelor's degree in archaeological and anthropological studies, a master's degree from Boston University, and a Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in California and before multiple federal courts, and is an active member of several professional associations for California trial attorneys.

Extensive Litigation and Courtroom Experience

Before founding his own practice, Chris worked as a certified law clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, where he gained hands-on experience with trials, grand jury proceedings, and preliminary hearings across multiple courthouses in Los Angeles County. That early courtroom experience laid the foundation for the litigation practice he built afterward.
